Well, as I could not figure it out, I have on my Mac a Windows 7 VM in Fusion running. Here I tried to get help, but I could not figure out the route tables to set If someone knows, I would be interested to hear about it. I could not figure out how to set up an additional route to Neorouter network. Now the problem, you can not connect to other machines on the Neorouter network, because the L2TP server is by default only configured for one route, your home network. try to browse the internet with Safari, use the VNC, 2x Client and other Apps to connect to all your machines on the same network as your Mac is on.(use real IP address on your home network, not Neorouter IP addresses) Now you are ready for first test, connect iPad via L2TP to your Mac. Proxy set to manual, Server to Squidman IP on Mac with L2TP server Send All Traffic to ON, if set to Off it will be split tunnel and requests to public addresses will NOT be routed via tunnel Account and password and Secret as set on your L2TP server on Mac Select L2TP, better security then PPTP, set: Now configure the VPN under settings General in your iPad. eeware.htm then set in your Squidman the "Parent Proxy" which is the Neorouter IP address of your US client with proxy installed. wnload.htm (you can use free version) or. If you want to browse in foreign country, for example your Mac is in Europe and you have a other Neorouter client in USA, install on the US machine a proxy (if Mac use Squidman, if Windows the proxy from Neorouter or better. With this you can now browse via the L2TP tunnel and you Mac to the internet. Also create a dynamic DNS domain for the L2TP server if installed on different machine.Ĭonfigure Squidman as explained (when you install Squidman, also Squid is installed automatically, nothing else to do. On router twist the port to the "official" neorouter port. Setup a dynamic DNS domain for your Neorouter server, use on the public side the port 443, a lot of mobile networks block ports other then 80 and 443. There is also a lot of other Apps what could be used, see below for explanation.Ĭonfigure your L2TP/PPTP server and your router on your Mac as explained here: "2X Client" and/or "iRdesktop" for RDP connection Safari browser to connect to Neorouter webclient (to get IP addresses of Neorouter network, you need to click on one of the icons to see IP) As I am not a command line guy, also did not want to spend a lot of time on this, here the implementation, all GUI driven, should be running including testing in 1 hour Ī) one Mac on your Neorouter network (tested with Mountain Lion) On other OS to setup a L2TP server seems a real complicated story.ĭ) as I could not figure out, how to set more then one route for VPN server or port-forwarding on Mac with new pf firewall, you need also a Windows box for port-forwarding, I have a W7 VM running in Fusion on my MBP to do this, you need to install "PortMapper" from. It has several drawbacks, would need some improvements (lower security, as it connects with L2TP to Neorouter network, the most functions are not point and click, could not setup proper routing on Mac so had to use additional a W7 box for port-forwarding, etc). In the meantime I had to get my iPad on the Neorouter network, well it is a dirty hack and does not replace a real client. Still waiting for the iPad/iPhone Neorouter client

To reduce this time there are three different focus limiting positions, which you set via a switch on the side of the lens. Obviously with such a large focus range it can take some time for the lens to focus from the closest distance to infinity. It is useful when shooting in continuous AF mode. When the lens hits the focus point you want, simply hold this button to lock focus the lens will then remain locked until you let go of the button. The focus-lock switch on the side of the lens helps make focusing even more easy, and is located on the side of the barrel where most photographers rest their thumb. Simply pull the lens to switch to manual focus, then a slight turn will instantly switch the viewfinder to magnified view, making very accurate focus selections a speedy process. I found this particularly useful for shooting macro images when sometimes only a slight focus shift was needed. Interestingly, the lens has a push/pull auto/manual focus switch, making it a quick switch between auto and manual focus. The body of the lens has a smooth matt metal finish, with a knurled rubber focus ring at the front end of the lens. It is certainly good enough for photographing live insects. To get a 1:1 magnification, the lens needs to be at its minimum focus distance of 28cm, which gives a good working distance between the subject and the end of the lens. Internally, the lens is constructed of 15 elements in 11 groups, with nine rounded aperture blades. Personally, I don’t see the 79 x 130.5mm dimensions, or 602g weight, being an issue, and I had no problem handling or carrying the camera around with me for a whole day. Once again, Sony has produced what many will think is a fairly large lens for the Alpha 7 cameras. Sony FE 90mm f/2.8 Macro G OSS review – Build and handling Overall, the OSS (Optical Steady Shot) built in to the lens works well, adding a touch of reassurance when shooting handheld street or landscape images, and it can also help with macro shots. The shallow depth of field means that just a slight shift back or forth can change the focus plane. At very close distances the problem is the back-and-forth movement that stabilisation can’t correct. I even managed to shoot some macro images at this speed, although more through luck, careful technique and firing a short burst than through the image stabilisation itself. Optical image stabilisation is featured in the lens, allowing me to shoot as slow as 1/15sec when taking images of distant objects. However, Alpha 7 users primarily in need of a specialist portrait lens would likely be better served by the Sony FE 85mm F1.8. Combined with the 90mm focal length, this means that the optic could double up as a portrait lens. Sony’s lens has an f/2.8 maximum aperture, with a minimum setting of f/22. In this context, the Sony 90mm Macro lens follows in the footsteps of the highly regarded Tamron 90mm, Tokina 100mm and Sigma 105mm macro lenses – quite an illustrious group to be part of. It offers a good working distance between the subject and the end of the lens, and has a narrow enough field of view so that backgrounds can be fairly concentrated and blown nicely out of focus. The 90-105mm focal length is a sweet spot for macro photographers. Sony FE 90mm f/2.8 Macro G OSS review – Features But does it deliver the goods? Find out how it performs in our in-depth Sony FE 90mm f/2.8 Macro G OSS review.įor more options, check out our guides to the Best Sony cameras, Best Sony lenses and Best macro lenses. With the lens’ price tag now at $1,098 / £800, it has perhaps come down into more photographers’ budgets since its launch. The 90mm mark has often been a favourite focal length for macro photography, as it provides enough distance from your subject to shoot it comfortably and render it lifesize in the frame. Those using Sony’s APS-C cameras have the option of the E 30mm F1.8 ($298 / £185), which weighs just 138g and provides 1:1 magnification. Since then, Sony has also introduced the more affordable FE 50mm F2.8 Macro ($549 / £449), while Sigma now provides strong competition with its excellent 105mm F2.8 DG DN Art ($799 / £649). When Sony released the FE 90mm f/2.8 Macro G OSS lens, it opened up a world of possibilities to E-mount shooters, providing them with a premium optic for capturing life-size images of smaller subjects. Until then, anyone interested in macro photography needed Sony’s own LA-EA adapters for Alpha-mount lenses or third-party adapters to shoot macro images. When the Sony FE 90mm f/2.8 Macro G OSS came along in 2015, it was the first true macro lens for full-frame Sony E-mount cameras. 2021 Last but not certainly not least on our list of best CLB lyrics. Rather than building a canal to deliver waterpower to various locations within the city (such as Augusta did), Columbus simply sold the rights to dam the river and restricted the use of the resulting power to a two-block area along the Chattahoochee (between present-day Twelfth and Fourteenth streets). The city of Columbus, which controlled the greatest potential waterpower site in the South, never spent any public money developing this resource. The river powered gristmills and sawmills as early as 1828 and a textile mill north of town by 1838. The Chattahoochee’s waterpower made Columbus a manufacturing center. Log Cabin, Columbus Courtesy of Historic Columbus Foundation The emerging rail center of Atlanta eclipsed Columbus as the western metropolis of Georgia. Steamboats still plied the Chattahoochee, but rails began connecting Columbus with larger markets. The river’s commercial advantage diminished in the 1850s with the arrival of railroads (via branch lines from Fort Valley and from Opelika, Alabama). Initially the river linked the city’s economy via Apalachicola, Florida, to the world cotton market, primarily to Liverpool, England. Columbus warehouses and merchants served planters and farmers within a fifty-mile radius. The subsequent availability of land reinforced the obsession about making money from cotton, but only a few realized the dream of becoming wealthy planters. The 1836 Creek War forced the final removal of 16,000 Indians, in an event now known as the Trail of Tears (1838-39). The Creek Indians clung to a strip of land west of the river, and outlaws tended to seek refuge there, where federal authority proved ineffective. The town retained a frontier atmosphere for more than a decade. Sketch of Columbus Courtesy of Hargrett Rare Book and Manuscript Library, University of Georgia Libraries. A four-block commons area or greenspace surrounded it on the north, east, and south. The original town consisted of a rectangle, thirteen blocks north to south (from the river to Seventeenth Street) and nine blocks east to west (from the river to Sixth Avenue), nestled against the irregular bank of the river on the west and south. The author Washington Irving’s contemporary writings about explorer Christopher Columbus probably influenced its naming. In 1828 the state legislature, realizing the economic potential of a location on the Chattahoochee River at the fall line, planned the city and auctioned its lots. By 2000, as the city rediscovered its picturesque river, private and public funding revitalized the original downtown into a premier venue and educational center for the fine and performing arts. By the 1960s Columbus began shedding the image of a mill and military town, as its business and civic leaders diversified the economy, modernized its government, and launched a series of cultural initiatives. The creation of neighboring Camp Benning (later Fort Benning) in 1918 added another dimension to the city. Entrepreneurs quickly harnessed the river’s power, and Columbus became one of the South’s earliest-and remained one of its largest-mill towns. Located at the head of river navigation, Columbus first boomed as a cotton-trading center. About Night Moves Tour Albums The question was asking if there were any conceivable circumstances where having fixed zoom in an image viewer was useful. Or in any event you want to throw out the ones that, even if they look OK full screen, you'd want to dump because know you have a lot of other shots that will work. With the assumption that you took a bunch of redundant shots and you are looking for the sharpest one. I was referring to quickly determining out of focus shots. If I had simply culled them based on such a method, I would have forever lost these unique images. That this incredible thing was going on when I took the shot. Sucker was stuffing huge clams into a cup in order to break them. I once took some pictures, from two hundred yards of a Sea Gull using a tool. But is focus and sharpness the only criteria for that innitial cull? If I catch a duel to the death between a groundhog and a Chiuohua, focus and IQ are not my primary agenda. But less so if you need to spend an excessive amount of time culling.Ĭertainly there are scenario's where what you are saying will work. If you want to be conservative, then change it to "one finger on the right arrow key and another on the key that is assigned to moving the culls to a 'purgatory' directory that you can later examine, if you want." The whole point is to make the culling process resolve to as few keystrokes as possible.ĭigital is free once you have the equipment and sometimes spray-and-pray pays off. Not always the case even in studio shots. It takes for granted that the important part of the image is what will be shown. What happens to people like me, who are proud if I remember the time of day, is that IĪnd wind up deleting shots that I want to keep, simply because I'm "seeing" the wrong part of the image. One finger on the right arrow key and another finger on the DEL key. You know that you have a lot of alternate shots of the same thing and want to do a quick cull of the duds. If you are already familiar with what is on the photos (because you took them a few hours ago), but you want to skim through them at 100% so you can evaluate for focus sharpness. Not sure why you want this zoom to be constant can´t see much sense in going from one jpg to the next and start right away with only seeing a tiny part of it, depending on the zoom or magnification setting. The rest of the family leave, and Rick admits that he made that up the strange readings to get Jerry out of going to the zoo, and admits that as much as he dislikes Jerry he has the right to take this seriously. Space Beth arrives to pick the family up for the zoo trip, but Rick asks Jerry to stay behind as he's been getting strange readings from Jerry's probability field regarding the fortune. Jerry becomes so paranoid that he even starts dressing like Morty, since Morty's mom is Beth. Jerry tries taping up his genitals while Morty and Summer continues to play various pranks on Jerry (including hiding a stuffed doll made to look like Jerry's mom in his wardrobe which falls on him repeatedly making it look like it's performing fellatio). Rick refuses stating that using science to make something impossible usually ends up making it more possible. Jerry's nerves get worse when his mother starts calling him more since he's trying to ignore her and begs Rick to investigate or use science to make it impossible. Beth implores him to ignore it, while Morty and Summer find it hilarious and begin to poke fun at him with it. Jerry starts getting paranoid that the fortune might come true, despite the fact he obviously would never have sex with his mother. Although the rest of the family is given generic meaningless ones, Jerry's fortune reads "You will have sex with your mother", much to everyone's shock and his dismay. When the meals over, the family are given their fortune cookies, with Summer pointing out they only comes true when the cookie is eaten first. Jerry complains about the place giving him diarrhea, although the others point out that it wouldn't have happened if he hadn't eaten the food meant for the animals. The Smith family are dining at Panda Express, and discuss the next day's trip to the zoo. When Jerry's fortune cookie reveals a fate worse than death, Rick decides to get to the bottom of the dessert's shocking prediction. |
